To see the location go to the map. The Jackson Reef (one of the best dive places in the world) is in the mid of the Street of Tiran which is at the southern end of the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea. Nearby is the island of Tiran which is a strategic position in the area because it allows to control all ship traffic trough this gulf.
